COLLET has always striven to use the most environment-friendly methods for Christmas tree production. We see ourselves as custodians and protectors of our vulnerable natural environment, and we are therefore committed to passing on the natural environment in a better state than we took over.

For many years we have established new ponds, coverts and spinneys. We have also established large uncultivated areas for the benefit of animals, birds and insects. We have uncovered streams and recently become involved in a major nature restoration project to re-establish the meandering course of Risby river.

As far as possible, we use suppliers with GlobalG.A.P. or PEFC certifications, for example. All our buildings are heated by CO₂-neutral means, and we sort and dispose of waste in the most environment-friendly way.
